Hearings to resume at end of August
The next block of evidential hearings at the Sheku Bayoh Inquiry is scheduled to begin on Monday 28 August 2023.
The sessions will continue to take evidence around Police Scotland’s post-incident management of events on 3 May 2015.
Witness schedules will be published on the Inquiry website in advance.
As previously, hearings will take place at Capital House in Edinburgh and will normally run from 10am till around 4pm. They will be streamed live via the Inquiry YouTube channel.
Members of the public who would like to attend in person should consult the attending as a visitor section of the website for more information.
This latest block of hearings is due to run from Monday 28 August to Friday 1 September and again from Tuesday 12 September to Friday 15 September.
